Newage Industries is Hiring a Business Development Representative Near Southampton, PA

Summary:

The NewAge Industries Business Development Representative (BDR) primary responsibilities is to seek out and develop new business opportunities in target markets, as directed. Additionally, the BDR will work with existing accounts in target markets to retain and grow business. NewAge Industries BDR works closely with other NewAge Team members both internal and external in supporting sales functions and opportunities with NewAge Industries customers. The BDR also works closely with other NewAge departments as the liaison between these departments and the customer using positive communication and cooperation.

Responsibilities:

· Develop strong business relationships with our customers

· Develop and expand existing and new business

· Drive new sales opportunities with existing customers, positioning the company for success

· Become knowledgeable of the Medical Device, Compounding Pharmacy, Beverage and other markets as required

· Utilize sales process and develop new business with customers to increase sales

· Understand the expectations, requirements, and nuances of each Customers/Distributors/OEMs, and excel in servicing them

· Utilize CRM for account and opportunity management

· Become knowledgeable of NewAge competitors and their products and how NewAge and its products compare to them

· Communicate industry news or trends learned with the rest of the NewAge Sales Team

· Shares any internal knowledge learned with rest of the NewAge Sales Team that may impact our Customers/Distributors/OEMs

· Prepares periodic sales reports per sales manager criteria, including forecasting and demand planning

· Keep the sales management team update on all major events and issues

· Follow company policies and procedures, takes ownership of requests

· Other duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements:

Education and/or Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university; business, marketing, communications.

· 3-5 years sales experience preferred

· Experience working with customers and sales channels in various markets a plus

· Experience with the Sandler sales system or other sales process a plus

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, margins, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply
concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Must be able to work with fractions, decimals, and metric dimensions.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete and dynamic variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
